Dominoe Effect

Colin got dominoes for christmas. So we started setting them up and after lots of trial and error we got a couple good ones. I also looked it up on the net and found it's called "dominoe toppling" and there are proffesionals and all sorts of gadgets you can use with them and even different colors to make cool designs. We also looked up a few video's and Colin is hooked. Here is some of his handywork.

Austin turns 12

Where oh where does the time go. Austin turned 12. He invited a few friends for a sleepover and we ordered pizza. He unwrapped his gifts, he loved them all. I made him a brownie cake, more like a tower of brownies as requested by him. Then he and his friends then disappeared into his room for the night. His best buddy hand drew Austin a birthday card, how sweet is that? All in all a great night nothing too big and fancy.

Tracking Santa

My kids are excitedly checking Norad's site to see where Santa is now. Otherwise I am trying to enjoy the calm before the storm. You can check on Santa's progress here.

Let it snow

After going to a friends home and seeing paper snowflakes I decided to make some with the boys. We started with an online site and then I showed them how to fold them and we cut made a huge mess and had a blast. We will be bringing this craft to the christmas gathering as it is very portable and frugal. Here is the link I used to do this "virtual" craft online. http://snowflakes.lookandfeel.com/

Life long goals, One crossed off

So after about 8 months of not getting my hair cut it was incredibly long. My hairdresser is in the springs and well its obviously been too hard getting up there to get my hair done. So a new salon opened and I went in tonight and finally got my hair done. And I have gotten a life long goal accomplished. I had enough hair to give to "lock of love". To top it off it would still be a reasonable length. I really like it and will have to post a picture. Now all I have to do is donate. Im so excited.
